Locating Senior Communities

My parents would like to move to a senior community where maintainence is provided. Where do I find a list of such communities?

Outdoor maintenance is provided in most rental communities such as Apartments for Older Adults or Independent Living communities.

If your parents are going to purchase a home in a senior community, they need to check with each individual community. Some include outdoor maintenance, others charge extra fees or know of an outdoor maintenance service they can refer you to.

Indoor maintenance is provided at most Independent Living communities (including maintenance and housekeeping, linen services, meals, etc.). Many of them also provide transportation shuttles, activities and day trips, and in-house services such as hairdressers, etc.
