Programs in PA for Senior's Home Maintenance

by Admin 10. April 2010 17:21

My mom is having sewage troubles and has been told by a plumber that the sewage pipes need replaced. Meaning the basement has to be dug up and the yard. I live with and help her with expenses. However our income together would not afford us to have this work done. Are there any programs in PA. to help with something like this?

Rebuilding Together Pittsburgh is a non-profit organization dedicated to keeping low-income elderly and disabled homeowners living in warmth, safety, independence, dignity, and decency through home repair and rehabilitation.

Rebuilding Together Pittsburgh assists elderly individuals living in Allegheny County. They are people who have worked hard to maintain their homes in the past, but have become physically frail and financially unable to continue with the upkeep of their homes. Many of the homes have deteriorated to the point of being unsafe and unlivable.
